Ahmaud Arbery
Foundation Scholarship

Ahmaud Arbery’s life was tragically cut short in an act of injustice that shook the nation, but his spirit lives on through the pursuit of justice, equity, and opportunity. Ahmaud was a vibrant, kind-hearted young man with dreams, ambitions, and a deep love for his community. His life serves as a reminder of the urgent need to create a world where every young person has the chance to thrive without fear. Through this scholarship, we honor Ahmaud’s memory by turning pain into purpose, creating pathways for hope, growth, and opportunity.

Inspired by her son’s legacy, Wanda Cooper-Jones, Ahmaud’s mother, established the Ahmaud Arbery Foundation Scholarship to support high school seniors at Brunswick High School, Ahmaud’s alma mater, as well as other High schools across the country for deserving young students. By investing in the dreams of students, the foundation seeks to uplift future leaders, helping them achieve academic success and make meaningful contributions to their communities—just as Ahmaud would have wanted.
