AAF Youth Experience Camp
Our Youth Experience Camp provides young boys with an immersive learning environment where they develop essential life skills, build confidence, and gain practical social and emotional tools. Through mentorship, hands-on activities, and guided discussions, we equip the next generation with the knowledge and strength to navigate life’s challenges.

I am truly grateful to the Ahmaud Arbery Foundation for awarding me the Ahmaud Arbery Scholarship, which has been a tremendous support for my education. This scholarship has eased my financial burdens, allowing me to concentrate fully on my studies without the constant stress of college expenses. Beyond financial support, it has also motivated me to pursue my goals with greater determination and passion. The foundation’s generosity has given me the opportunity to explore my academic interests and career aspirations without limitations. The Ahmaud Arbery scholarship has been an amazing opportunity. This scholarship has had a great impact on not only my academic career but for my personal growth. A lot of the potential financial burden that I would be struggling with right now has been lifted thanks to this scholarship. This has allowed me to really focus on my studies and extracurricular without me having to worry about the expense of school. I am able to fully in engage in meaningful connections and experiences. Furthermore, the scholarship has raised my confidence and motivated me to continue to do great things in my career path. Ultimately this scholarship has really helped open doors for a lot of opportunities that I might not have been able to do if I was worrying about college expenses. The Ahmaud Arbery Foundation has played a pivotal role in my pursuit of higher education. Through its scholarship program, I’ve had the incredible opportunity to attend the prestigious University of Southern California, where I study theatre and film. At USC, I’ve collaborated with some of the brightest and most creative minds in the world, and I’m currently acting, producing, and directing across four different projects. Nowhere else in the world would I have the chance to create so much art at such a high level, and I owe that entirely to the Ahmaud Arbery Foundation. Their scholarship has alleviated financial stress from me and my family, allowing me to focus on honing my craft and building connections within the theatre and film communities on campus and in Los Angeles. I’m deeply grateful for the Foundation’s continued support of my artistic and educational journey, and I hope my work reflects the impact of their incredible mission.
My name is Kyle Sloan, a senior at Morehouse College pursuing a degree in kinesiology. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to apply for the Ahmaud Arbery Foundation Scholarship. Over the past year, I’ve had the privilege of serving as a camp counselor and mentor with the foundation—an experience that has profoundly shaped my life and career goals. Through my involvement, I’ve witnessed Ms. Wanda’s inspiring dedication to empowering youth, fostering personal growth, and promoting community engagement. Her commitment has encouraged me to reflect on my own goals and explore how kinesiology can support both physical health and holistic youth development. I am excited about the possibility of continuing Ahmaud Arbery’s legacy by uplifting the next generation. Your support would greatly aid me in furthering my education and expanding my impact within the community.
